Clients often come to me feeling overwhelmed with too much choice and unable to visualise what they want, or how to go about it. Seeing the space through my eyes, often helps clients visualise options they may not have considered before.
Some clients want to transform an existing space, with a fresh new decoration scheme, curtains and a new furniture package. Other clients, want a complete overhaul which may include new walls, electrics, plumbing and to create a completely different usage to the space. All of my clients want to spend their budget wisely and often choose my service to ensure that all fixtures, fittings and labour costs are calculated before work begins. My service is open to all, no matter how big or small your project is.
Its hard to consolidate ideas, plan a budget and know where to source the best options for your money when you are too close to your environment. If your working full time, time is often against you and nobody wants to live in a building site for too long!
I offer a design and project management service. I work closely alongside my clients and my team of trusted sub contractors, to deliver a hands on approach on all projects. Equipped with a diverse team of sub contractors from the Nottinghamshire area, my trusted tradesmen include builders, kitchen fitters, bathroom fitters, electricians, plumbers, tilers, plasterers, joiners, decorators, flooring specialists and curtain makers. I work with selected trades that have been by my side for over 12 years. Friendly, professional and helpful, they reflect my business values and I trust them to deliver work to a high standard.
I started my business from a tiny seed, having started out as a professional painter, retrained as a designer, and obtained a degree in Decorative Arts, I realised that any designer worth their salt must understand the practical implication of how a design is made into a reality. Having both practical and logical skills, fused with a creative edge ensures you’re in safe hands.
Led by colour and materials, my design work considers more than just the aesthetic. I think about how the room works as a whole and the processes involved in turning all elements from an idea into a reality.
