HOW IT WORKS

Our Interior Design package can be tailored around the level of service and assistance you require. A personalised style guide is devised from your budget, to include any furniture, lighting, textiles, mirrors or accessories recommended to bring your room to life. The service includes:

  • Furniture floor plans.

  • Moodboard to show suggested scheme.

  • Material sampling to include painted swatch cards, curtain material, wallpaper choices, wood and floor coverings.

  • 3D visualisations to show you how the room will look.

  • Budget forecast including labour, materials and procurement.

  • Digital design presentation showcasing all product sourcing hosted at Spruce Shop at a time that suits you.

Sarah took the time to understand our likes & dislikes. She came up with ideas we would never have dreamt of. I think this is the benefit to using an interior designer, something that we had never done before. We were able to view the design as it would look in our space as a digital render which was brilliant & very accurate!

WHY USE A DESIGNER

We look at new trends, new methods, new products and new collections on a daily basis so to keep our finger on the pulse of the Interiors market. As with any professionalism, we know what works and what doesn’t, we have spatial awareness, are creative yet practical and have the ability to see any interior space three dimensionally.

Renovating an entire house, or decorating a room can be expensive and theres a lot of choices out there so its important to us that you spend you money wisely to ensure everything hangs together in a cohesive scheme.

Having visualisations of how the room will look before you spend thousands on making those all important changes is worth its weight in gold. It gives you confidence in your decisions, and more importantly peace of mind.

One of the many features that we Love are the log tile panels in the living area. The room was so long we had no idea how to break up the back wall and the wood panels do this brilliantly, they’re such a beautiful warm feature.

PRESENTATION

One of the things our clients love the most, is the design presentation. We welcome you back to our lovely little design shop on Chilwell Road and present the design scheme on our large screen. We show you all the samples, talk through the ideas, and show you the visualisations of how the overall scheme will work.

From feedback from our clients, the one thing they always under estimate, is the amount of research and options we put into the design presentation. We work incredibly hard, to give you 3 options on each product you need. This gives you products at various price points, and design styles so that you are always in control of the direction the design heads towards.

We search through hundreds of products to present to the best options, so that we are confident that we have found the perfect design for your space.

FINAL EDIT

After the presentation, we work through all of your final selections and finalise your budget so that you know how much it will cost. Seeing all of your choices and associated costs together allows you to finalise the design before you start spending any money.

After this stag, the Interior Design service, changes to Project Management, at such point the delivery of the design is then carried out. We don’t offer a design only service unfortunately, as all clients we work with sign up to the service for a design and management service. This ensures that our design work is carried out accurately, and our trades team delivery the design as it has been created.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

Once the design has been signed off, 6-8 weeks later the work will begin. This ensures adequate time to finalise the work schedule and procure all fixtures and fittings required to bring the design to life. The Project Management fee costs 10% + VAT. We handle all aspects of the design from ordering to management of our contractors, right through to the staging and final photos of the room at the end.
