SURVEY & COLOUR
CONSULTATION
For all enquiries, we like to invite you to the shop for free and informal 15-30 minute chat. This gives you the opportunity to find out more about our service, how it works, timescales, and we give you the opportunity to have a look at some previous design work completed for other clients.
If you want to proceed this is then booked in as a “Survey & Colour Consultation”. Once the room has been surveyed a full Quotation along with the Project Brief will be emailed to you within 5-7 working days.
The Survey & Colour Consultation is booked for 1 hour at your property, and is paid for on a room by room basis. Each room costs £125 + VAT and is non refundable.
What to expect:

To book in for the Survey & Colour Consultation, Spruce Interiors will take a non refundable fee to visit your home and discuss your ideas and aspirations for what you hope to achieve when using the Design service. During the initial home visit Spruce Interiors will listen to your inspiration, talk through Pinterest ideas, and discuss how you want the room to look. A room survey will be completed, and we will discuss your budget.

After the initial home visit, a full brief will be written along with your Project Proposal. This is usually sent to you within 5-7 days of the Survey & Colour Consultation. Within this email, you will receive a very detailed Service Outline, that explains step by step how the process works, and expected timescales within the service.

Attached to the Project Proposal is the initial invoice for the design fee for the first room. We always take the design fee upfront so to protect our copyright. This payment books the work into our diary, and there is usually a 4-8 week lead time between agreeing the Proposal and starting the work. Our service is offered to a broad range of clients, and we work on a first come first serve basis.

Before the design work starts, we may also pop back to the property to get some “Before” photos, however this is sometimes taken during the Survey & Colour Consultation depending on how much time we have left within the appointment.

Make ideas into reality! The design process usually take 6-8 weeks depending on the level of detail within the design. We always work with a broad range of suppliers, manufacturers and local artisans, so we like to wait until all of the quotes and samples have been received before finalising the design. Once the design is complete, we invite you back to the shop in Beeston for the design presentation which normally takes 1 hour per room.
